And Away We Go F1 Podcast
And Away We Go F1 Podcast goes beyond the track limits to talk about Formula 1, travel, food and lifestyle of F1 destinations.
Hosted by Dianne Bortoletto a pre-Drive to Survive (D2S) F1 fan, and Monique Ceccato, a post-D2S fan. In each episode, they recap the race, unpack F1 rumours, hold thought-provoking discussions, interview interesting people, and chat about the lifestyle surrounding the world’s greatest sport, including travel, food and, if Lewis’ outfit warrants it, fashion.
Although they’re separated by 14,000 kilometres—Di in Margaret River in southwest Western Australia and Monique in Norway—F1 brought them close together. Since discovering they both live to hear the words “Lights out and away we go!” they’ve been blowing up each others’ inboxes with facts, opinions, and rumours every race weekend. When messages escalated to long voice memos, the idea for And Away We Go F1 Podcast was born.
As travel writers and food lovers, Di and Mon bring a new perspective to Formula 1, going beyond the track limits to share the places, people and cuisine of each F1 host destination with listeners.
Thanks for listening. Until lights out....

Ep45: SIX RED FLAGS and the Azerbaijan Grand Prix
It defies belief, but this weekend's qualifying in Baku brought out not one, not two, but SIX red flags. History has been made, and not for the right reasons. Despite the carnage in setting the grid, the race was relatively uneventful after the opening lap. Though we did see some less familiar faces gracing the podium steps, which we're always here for.
While we definitely had our eyes on the interval times in that DRS train that nobody could get off, we also kept an eye on things outside the circuit. Baku is a city that has interested us for a long time, and we looked into some of the things you can do there. Apparently, you can visit a carpet museum shaped like a rolled-up carpet, and, if you're a regular Anthony Bourdain, there are plenty of places you can go to try traditional dolma or qutab.
