And Away We Go F1 Podcast

Ep17: Flops, drops, and all the surprises; our predictions ahead of the 2025 F1 season

Dianne Bortoletto & Monique Ceccato Season 1 Episode 17

To say we’re excited for the upcoming 2025 F1 season is an understatement: we’ve said it at least 35 million times in just this episode. There’s so much to look forward to when the lights go out at Melbourne’s Albert Park this Sunday, 16th March, so we take a moment to sit down and discuss all the things we think we’re going to see over this 24-race season.

Di has her money on one of the young-gun rookies to secure their first race win, while Mon is convinced one of the seats at a front-running team will be lost before the season ends. A big shout out to one of our wonderful listeners, Anuj, for suggesting we tackle these questions ahead of the first race.

Of course, it would be remiss of us to ignore the fact that Drive to Survive is now out in the wild, so we unpack our thoughts and feelings about the first ¾ of the season, too (and because we're thoughtful, there are limited spoiler alerts, hardly any).

What do you think? We'd love to hear your opinions on:

  • Good surprise
  • Big flop
  • Loses race seat
  • New race winner
  • Constructor’s champion
  • World champion
  • One crazy prediction
